Reunited
Wiggin (our Siamese cat) and I made the drive from Hemet to Portland and arrived safely last night. Adam and I haven't seen each other in nearly 4 months, and it is wonderful to be back together. There is a reason we're getting married, and we hope that we never find ourselves in a position to spend months apart in the future. I finished my graduate program, finished my final days with the grant project, and now I just need to find a job. I've applied at a few places,...

If everything goes according to plan, I should be making my escape from Hemet on (or very near) February 18. Trying to do much more than count the days until then - I have tons to do: - turn in Counseling Portfolio - set up final Exit Interview - miss Adam - second interview for job at Pacific University in Portland area - swap convertible back for station wagon - dream of the trees and the rain - pack! or "how the heck do I/we have so much stuff!!" - clean... lots - tie up loose...

Happy New Year, everyone! 2010 looks to be an exciting year. I'm about 95% done with school - just a few more fieldwork hours to complete, then I can submit my portfolio, take the exit interview, and finally have my degree! I'm applying for jobs in Portland as I find them and hope to be moving back in the next month or so. Adam starts school next week and and continues to work at WinCo. And, we're getting married! In less than 6 months! Lots to do... lots to look...
Study Break

While I will continue to work on my master's project and finish up my fieldwork, I will essentially be done with school. I can't wait. I found my ring!!! I almost cannot believe it - except for the fact that it's back on my finger! Last time when we were here, it went missing. I searched all of our luggage. Wedding Madness
For the last several weeks, I've been helping my friends Robin and Chris with their wedding. It was a crazy rush through the big day, but everything turned out perfectly for the ceremony and the reception was great. I officiated and helped write the ceremony.
