Tim and Joy

Absolutely Joyous

Ah, the trials and tribulations (and the pure, unadulterated fun) of planning a wedding.

Freedom Hall and Gardens

And there we go! My two MOH, Cindy and Stephanie, came with Tim and me to go on a tour of the Freedom Hall and Gardens, and it was great, great, great! They let us taste a yummy dish, too. Apparently they keep a favor from each wedding - I thought that that was so sweet.  After the tour, we had a mini photo shoot in the garden. It was quite fun! I think we're decided on this venue.

Church blues no more!

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! ADORABLE CHURCH ALERT! ADORABLE CHURCH ALERT! This decades old church is like a diamond. Cute Bell tower, the sanctuary is just gorgeous... and it's all mine (er, ours) to decorate! :D Checkmate.

Lili Durkin!!!

Woo! We just met with Lili, and she is the most adorable person I have ever met (aside from Tim, my mom, my dad, and Stephanie and Julie... and Cindy). She made Tim and me feel right at home, and we got the papers, and got to tell her some things about us and stuff... Fun! :)  She has this idea of going to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for our engagement pictures! Eeeeek! It sounds so fun. They have a Ferris Wheel, and there's a beach... sounds so great. Anywho. I'm gonna be filling...

Church worries

I got an email today about the church, and it seems that they do allow weddings on Sundays. However we'd need to schedule it between two groups of services! *crosses fingers*

Morgan Hill

Man, oh man. This is such a quaint area (thank you, Tim, for that word). I felt like such a city girl, squealing at every corner about every single thing. There has been talk about settling down here. If you ask me, I really wouldn't mind! The church is just so cute! I really hope that things work out and this is the place I'll be walking into to marry Tim.  Next up, emails to the church and the reception place. Wish me luck!
