Registries
Here are some practical ways of blessing us at the start of our life together! These are the three American stores that we are registered with.
If you are purchasing a gift online, we have set up an American address for the gifts to be posted to (this will be the easiest way for Australian engagement party gifts to reach us). If you are given a choice of addresses, please select the 'Kansas City, MO' address.
Unfortunately, not every online registry can accept Australian/international credit cards, but if you read carefully you'll see that we've done the research for you :)
If you purchase and send a gift online, please let us know (the stores don't, which is dumb) so that we can thank you!

Bed Bath & Beyond
This place is nice :) we registered here for some better-quality essentials (eg. flatware, drinkware...)
However, you do need a credit card linked to an American billing address to buy items from here online. So international friends and family will most likely be unable to purchase anything from this registry :( unless you actually go to America and buy instore!
Target
At first glance, this website is also unable to accept cards that aren't linked to an American billing address. HOWEVER... if you have an account with Amazon.com, you have the option to sign in with that account and then you can use your international credit card! Woohoo! Helen already tested this out with her Aussie card and it works! Three cheers for Amazon!!
Walmart
Once again, this website only accepts cards that are linked to an American billing address. However, it also accepts Paypal as a payment option (I think that's what Ebay uses?), so internationals can pay with that instead :)
Cash donations
Ah, cash. A sometimes controversial gift option... but what with the trickiness of having events in Australia and America, guests from all over, trying to have to move as little as possible from Australia to America... it is a really straightforward, practical gift option, especially for our Australian engagement party guests. We won't think you're being impersonal and/or uncreative ;) just helpful!
With it we'll be able to purchase any left over registry items and put it towards the wedding photography costs :)
