1. He sincerely loves God. His affection and passion towards God is genuine.

2. He sincerely cares for God’s people. I admire how he relates to his brothers, sisters, elders and leaders at church. His relationship with others reflects a true Christian brother- very encouraging, respectful, helpful, patient, compassionate and loving.

3. He honors his father and mother. I really adore his relationship with his parents.

4. He’s so humble- which is super perfect for me cuz I’m so not.

5. He makes me feel like I am the prettiest woman on the planet. (Let’s admit it ladies, this is important)

6. He takes time to study and learn the things that I’m interested in. He started playing tennis more often since he found out that I’m into it. He started watching movies like “Bring it On” “The Notebook” “Marley & Me” and “Baby Mama” to be able to relate to my world.

7. Despite the distance between us, (him being in California and me being in Tokyo) he never fails to make me feel warm, happy, “kilig” (Eng: feeling of having butterflies in your stomach) and very special.

8. He’s so supportive and understanding… sometimes TOO supportive and understanding that it makes me feel guilty.

9. He makes me feel secure. I’m not talking about financial security here, although that is part of it, but the bigger part is that I’m secure in his love and attention. He makes me feel loved and admired.

10. I can tell him anything and I do tell him EVERYTHING. I love how open I am with him and how easy it is for me to say things without fear of being judged.

11. He tries to bulk up for me. I really appreciate him going to the gym religiously and drinking those gross protein shakes.

12. He’s so caring and sweet. While we were watching a 3D Movie one time (Avatar), he sensed that I was beginning to get a headache so he started insisting on going home. I was really touched cuz we were in the middle of the movie and I knew how much he was enjoying it. Another example was when we were watching the MotorCross at the Angel’s stadium. I saw a vendor selling hot chocolate 20 rows ahead of us and casually said “Aah, would love a hot choco now,” he immediately ran down to get one for me.

13. He’s so much fun to be with. Even when we’re just driving and not verbally communicating, I still enjoy our moment.

14. He tries to look better for me. He grooms well, dresses well, chooses perfumes well when he’s with me.

15. He’s so attractive to me. I think he’s the cutest dude ever. I really enjoy looking at him.

16. He’s my calming presence. His calm demeanor is such a perfect balance to my hyper personality.

17. He makes me laugh. I like his sense of humor. He does crazy impersonations, accents and tells silly jokes in an innocent funny way.

18. We both love good food and movies. Awesome quality time when we're doing both at the same time :-)

19. He has a generous heart. I was surprised to find an email in my mailbox entitled “Our Daughter” one day. I found out that he decided for us to support this cute little girl in Africa financially every month. The little girl’s birthday is the day of our wedding.

20. He rejoices in who I am. He loves my talkativeness, loudness, hyper personality and even tolerates my morning grumpiness.

21. I was initially planning on calling this blog “10 things I love about Tony” but found out that it was impossible to squeeze in all the things that I love about him. As a matter of fact, the list goes on and on for me.
