- She IS the most beautiful woman in the world
- She can always pick me up and make me smile
- Her heart for God and her heart for other people is so evident in her daily life through her compassion, self sacrifice, love and commitment to her ministries.
- Her lively, fun, and adventurous personality is so much fun to be around.
- She takes such good care of me, even when it is her visiting me on her vacation. For example most days I would come home from work to discover my bed had been made, my clothes were all cleaned and hung up, and had helped my mom finish the dishes.
- She brings balance to me, I really feel like she is the other half that makes me whole.
- We have so many common hobbies and like all the same things (including food-very important), you would think we were born brother and sister.
- She supports me and inspires me. She boosts my self confidence and self esteem, and makes me feel like a man.
- She respects me and entrusts her life in my leadership.
- We have can have so much fun doing nothing. It’s so easy to see myself spending the rest of my life with and growing old with her.
- I can be totally silent with her and not have that awkward silence feel.
- She brings me comfort. When I am feeling down or tired or exhausted, I really crave for her companionship.
- She loves music like I do and has a wonderful voice.
- She is changing things about herself to ready herself for being a great wife. For example she is trying to learn to cook, something she really never had a desire to learn before. Another example, she has been working on her grumpiness and trying to be more of a “morning person” for me. Another example! She is training herself to sleep with only 1 pillow, instead of 9, so that when we get married, there’s room in on the bed for me too.
- She loves me for who I am.
- She knows the worst things about me, all my faults and my deepest darkest secrets, and she loves me anyway.
- She makes a strong effort to learn about my world and try the things that I like. And often she enjoys them too.
- Finally, I love Marie because she is giving up her life as she knows it to be with me. She is giving up her great job, her friends and family in Japan, NY, and the Philippines, her church, her lifestyle, and that wonderful Japanese food – all things she absolutely loves and will miss dearly, just to be with me. I will never forget that sacrifice.
