We chose this downtown hotel for its unique and sophisticated feel and because it is only 2 blocks away from Eggspecations. It is also blocks away from the parliament buildings, the Byward Market and other egg.citing attractions in our nation's capital.
The hotel's restaurant, Phi, is open for breakfast and dinner and also serves Starbucks coffee, lattes and cappuccinos. As well, the hotel shares its building with a Tim Hortons and a salon (http://www.bossarts.com/) for your convenience.
We have blocked a number of rooms at a discounted rate of $119 per night. You can make a reservation by calling the hotel and saying that you are with the Ireland-Green wedding. Or, if you would like to make a reservation online the code is IRE. These rooms will become unblocked on July 22nd, 2009.

Residence Inn by Marriott
Hotel Indigo and the Residence Inn by Marriott share a building and amenities. So, if you think you would be more comfortable in a suite please check them out as you will still be close by!
This all-suites hotel offers studio, one and two bedroom rooms complete with a pull-out coach in the living room and a kitchen or kitchenette. They also provide a hot breakfast.
Prices begin around $130 and go to $200. Children under 18 stay free.
We do not have rooms blocked at this hotel.
If you stay here you should be aware that the "front desk" is located on the fourth floor which is a bit strange and confusing!
