From the wide-open plains of Cheyenne to the rugged mountains of northwestern Wyoming, the variety and natural beauty of this western state means one thing: it’s a very pretty place to plan your wedding. And with wedding day backdrops in mind, we’ve got some of our favorite wedding venues state-wide to share, from urban gardens to wilderness-framed working ranches.
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
Fence-free and open to the public, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are a beautiful place to plan your outdoor Wyoming wedding – and the property can be scheduled for your own exclusive use. The Peace Garden is the site’s most popular ceremony location, while the Discovery Pond Gazebo has also been the setting for numerous “I do’s.” Celebrations here are best limited to 150 guests.
Diamond Cross Ranch
Hailed as the perfect Wyoming wedding venue for your fairytale wedding, the Diamond Cross Ranch is located in Jackson Hole and features views of the distant Tetons amid the natural appeal of a working cattle ranch. An event center and outdoor terrace, constructed in 2003, permits the property’s owners to share its historic charm and beauty with you – and you, in turn, to share it with your guests.
Grand Teton Lodge Company
The Grand Tetons are one of the most breathtaking sections of America. The Grand Teton Lodge Company, which owns several properties within Grand Teton National Park itself, is the access point for some of the most incredible venues around. Try Jackson Lake Lodge, for example. Intimate, elegant, and ideal for scenic celebrations, this rustic lodge is tucked neatly into the pines immediately beneath the Tetons, with views across Jackson Lake.
