Ventura is well known among Southern Californians as a prime surfing spot. Consistent waves and sunny weather make for definite water-front appeal, Rincon Beach is hailed at one of the top surfing beaches in the world. However, we know that’s not why you’ve gathered today. In fact, we’re pretty sure that those details are much more important when considering honeymoon options – and although a Ventura honeymoon would be wonderful, we’re here to talk about planning your Ventura wedding.

Ventura Wedding Venues

With this much beachfront property, the city of Ventura has more than a few beautiful settings for your wedding day. Golf clubs and area hotels, including the Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center, are an elegant choice and have indoor and outdoor settings for ceremonies and receptions, while the Oceanview Pavilion is a perfect example of picturesque ocean side scenery. However, one of our absolute favorite Ventura wedding venues is just a short drive down the road in the Ventura County town of Ojai. The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is a AAA Five Diamond property with 220 acres of lush, peaceful property at its disposal. The estate is caught up in the coastal Topa Topa Mountains and on-site structures are all Spanish Colonial architecture and historic central California charm. Outdoor courtyards, lawns, and gardens provide the immediate setting for your wedding day, and receptions can be held in a number of locations. In a nutshell: this inn is pretty.
