The performing arts center is world-famous, the local mineral springs enticed the King of Spain to visit in their 1800s heyday, and the city is home to the oldest thoroughbred race track in the country. Downtown is artsy and laid back, and cozy bed and breakfasts (as well as the landmark Adelphi Hotel) make the city an enticing place to visit – but the real reason we’re interested in Saratoga Springs is because it seems like a wonderful place to plan a wedding.

Saratoga Springs Wedding Venues

Let’s talk about wedding venues. Two wedding venues, to be specific, both in the Saratoga Springs area and both absolutely breathtaking, albeit in very different ways. The Historic Barns at Nipmoose are just outside of town and the utmost in rustic Saratoga Springs wedding locations. Idyllic for both ceremonies and receptions, the property is home to fully restored Scottish and German barns, as well as a corn crib, and offers panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and wide-open settings. The barns interiors are all exposed wood beams and perfect for string light-lit celebrations.

In Saratoga Springs itself is our second venue – also historic, but this time with a truly elegant twist. The Canfield Casino's reception site is made up of arched ceilings and white columns, with gold chandeliers mounted throughout the room. Classic and lovely, the venue has stained glass details and a touch of old Hollywood glam, and the vintage carousel next door is available through the casino for wedding day photos.

P.S. Don’t forget to use the best planning tools around – our wedding websites are perfect for communicating with your guests and sharing the details of your wedding day and registry.
