We’re a little bit in love with Asheville. From the local culture, food, and drink, to the proximity and enthusiasm for all things outdoors, this city is one piece of wonderful. It also happens to be an absolutely dreamy place to plan and have a wedding – for locals and destination type couples alike. Just to get you started (okay, because we really can’t help ourselves. We could talk about Ashville for days.) we have a few of our favorite Asheville vendors to share.

Wedding Venues in Asheville

We’re not sure if we’ve mentioned this, but Asheville is pretty. And between the natural scenery and the city itself, beautiful wedding locations in Asheville are not hard to come by. The Venue, an event facility located right in the heart of downtown, is one of those locations. The spacious building, with its three unique settings, exposed brick walls, and barn ceilings, is warm and exceptionally elegant. Vintage details and delicious food are all part of the plan here, and in-house floral design is one of the site’s many service options Claxton Farm is another Asheville wedding venue worth visiting, this time within the natural beauty of a 500-acre working farm. Just outside the city limits, the intimate location is comes complete with rolling hills and a llama or two – plus a reception-ready barn and a meadow fit for the sweetest of ceremonies.

Asheville Wedding Photographers

When it comes to capturing the details, emotions, and moments of your wedding day, you can’t go wrong with Asheville wedding photographer Elizabeth of Almond Leaf Studios. Self-described as a person who loves love, Elizabeth is also a talented photographer who does wonders with natural light and newlywed’s portraits. She is based in Charlotte, but happily covers Asheville weddings. Oh, Darling! is another North Carolina photography studio we love to rave about. The owners, a husband and wife team, work together to create lovely images of your day’s happiest moments.

P.S. Don’t forget to use the best planning tools around – our wedding websites are perfect for communicating with your guests and sharing the details of your wedding day and registry.
