Reno, like its big sister Las Vegas, is one of Nevada’s major gaming and getaway cities. Known as the Biggest Little City in the World, this place is packed with entertainment and only a short drive from outdoor adventures and Lake Tahoe. It’s also home to a multitude of wedding venues – and here are a few of our favorites.

Reno Wedding Venues

Rancharrah may just be the perfect Reno wedding location. Located only ten minutes from downtown, this 150-acre ranch is a one of a kind venue with historic architecture and ambiance and incredible views of the surrounding property and nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains. Doubling as a state-of-the-art equestrian facility, the site is filled with park-like scenery and multiple indoor and outdoor venues. Indoor wedding planning couples should look to the marble-floored elegance of the Harrah Mansion (the grand staircase makes for a beautiful background in your photos), while the Crummer Grove is a breathtaking outdoor ceremony site that can also accommodate receptions.

You can also look to the Peppermill. A lavish resort and casino in the heart of the city, the Peppermill has numerous indoor wedding venues (as well as a couple of terrace and courtyard options) and the chapels are among the prettiest wedding chapels in Reno. Both the Florence Chapel and the Pisa Chapel are warmly decorated and designed to accommodate smaller gatherings.
