This is your day. You’ve got the dress, you’ve planned the party, and in just a few moments you’ll be walking down an aisle toward the person you love even more than the floral arrangements you’ve so carefully selected. But there’s just one more little detail: the photographer. The person you’ve asked to help you capture the thoughts and emotions of this incredibly special day. And because we want to make sure that those emotions (and the images you’ll look at years from now in remembrance) are in the best of hands, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite Virginia wedding photographers.

Stone Blue Productions

Mastering both photo and video, Stone Blue Productions is all about capturing you and your loved ones’ most treasured moments through the lenses of their cameras. Owner Jeremiah Guelzo recalls a lifelong fascination with and interest in photography, and his discovery that through film and digital media he could bottle time – having then to only pop the cork to relive the best and brightest of our memories. We think that this philosophy and dedication, when paired with Stone Blue’s beautiful work, make this company a shining option for both wedding video and photography.

Sam Hughes Photography

A husband and wife team who work to cover first the love and marriage…and then the babies that follow, Sam Hughes Photography is a Norfolk-based studio with a classically-inspired portfolio. Sam covers the wedding end of the operation, and is skilled at discovering the details of your wedding day.

Three Lights Photography

Laura Luís is a nationally-published wedding photographer who has photographed weddings around the world and has had her work featured in numerous bridal magazines and across wedding websites. She is also, despite her varied travel schedule, based out of Middleburg, Virginia. Her photos capture, in her own words, the combination of art, story, and love that make up a wedding.

P.S. Don’t forget to use the best planning tools around – our wedding websites are perfect for communicating with your guests and sharing the details of your wedding day and registry.
