Travis' mom took his whole family on a cruise (including me) to the islands. When we got to Port in St. Thomas, I wanted to find an diamond right hand ring. We searched and searched and I couldn't find anything I could afford, so I started looking at emeralds (my father's birthstone). Travis didn't like any of them and told me that we would buy the diamond engagment ring that I had fallen in love with. I started crying in the store! He told me I wouldn't be getting it on the cruise.

Later in the day, we were scheduled for a ride to the top of the island. So we hopped on the gondola and headed to the top. We hiked around and looked over the island from all the different landings that had been built in. We found a great platform that had a beautiful view of the bay and the sun had finally decided to come out. It was gorgeous! I was looking out on the bay when Trav said "Honey, I can't wait." And I had no clue what he was talking about and when I turned around, he was down on one knee. He said to me "Sweety, I love you, will you be my wife?" I said "Of coarse" and here we are now
