April and Bob

Our Story

Bob and April "officially met" after having lived next door to each other for several years. One day they happened to meet on the sidewalk and start talking. Two days later Bob left a note on April's door, they went out to dinner the following Friday, and have been sampling restaurants, having fun, supporting and learning from one other for a little over two years since then.

Her interests are eating, sleeping, grooming, watching the parrots, chattering at the sparrows in the trees outside our windows, knocking things off high places, and ambushing Bob's ankles.

Tyco's and Phoebe's story

Who runs this house? Look inside the birdcage.
Tyco's and Phoebe's story

Bob raised Tyco from a chick. Despite this, Tyco treats Bob like chopped liver and stalks April relentlessly. Tyco needs psych meds or a parrot counselor. His favorite food is ice cream (which he gets very seldom). His favorite phrases are "What's going on here?" and "You're the best gray bird in the WHOLE world." Phoebe was adopted later in life, and she adores Bob. She's gentle and sweet and non-obsessive. Her favorite foods are peanuts and chicken bones, and her favorite phrases are "Hello! heLLO! HELLo..." and "Tyco biiiirrrd" and "Don't bite. Don't bite. DON'T BITE!"
