A little bit about me, and why you might just love to work with me...

I am a Photographic Artist based out of the Twin Cities.  I specialize in Wedding & Lifestyle Portrait work, and I love to travel. My style blends fine art & photojournalism, with a little bit of fun.  Like a hand-picked organic apple, my style is crisp, clean, and fresh. I gravitate towards bold colors, unique style, creativity, and a fresh perspective.  I love being in the zone and creatively capturing the interactions and feelings in each tiny moment.  And the fact that those tiny moments can come and go in an instant, and yet speak volumes when captured, is what I’m after.

I am very passionate about my craft.  I absolutely love my work, and I love people too. I am laid back, fun, and easy going, yet I'm also highly aware, on point, and very professional at the same time.  I'm a great listener, I'm patient, and I truly care about creating awesome photographs for each and every one of my clients...to cherish forever.

I'm moved by music, nature, travel, organic gardening, big ideas, and all things creative.

I value honesty, integrity, a good sense of humor, and old fashioned hard work.

I'm a family man myself and father of two of the sweetest boys in the whole wide world...IMHO...and they have the most wonderful mother as well....love you sweetie! I'm a very active and fun father and I get along really well with kids.  Maybe because I'm kind of a big kid myself. I love hearing my clients rave after our session, about how their kids warmed right up to me and had a blast.

From a technical standpoint, I have a passion for learning and continually improving my skills.  I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).  I attend conferences, seminars, and classes as much as possible.  I am currently on the path to become a certified master photographer.  I also have the equipment to compliment my knowledge base, and creative eye.  I use state-of-the-art professional camera equipment to truly get you the best photographs possible.

From a social & eco-conscious standpoint, I'm also the highest rated, and only "Premier Level" certified "green" photographer (Greener Photography) in Minnesota, and also a 5-star (leaf) approved vendor with The Green Bride Guide. I utilize digital delivery which eliminates all the waste that comes with traditional packaging and shipping. When my clients want prints, books, or albums I choose products that incorporate FSC certified papers, from sustainably managed forests, and use recycled & renewable materials. My main lab is based right here in Eagan, MN and offers these amazing products without comprising quality one bit.
