At Abernethy, we have the most romantic and scenic wedding locations in Oregon. Located just 20 minutes outside of Portland, Abernethy is the ideal location for a large outdoor wedding or an intimate indoor affair. With over 5 acres of natural grasses and lavish gardens, as well as 5,000 square feet of indoor ballroom event space we are able to create the outdoor or indoor wedding and reception you have always dreamed of.

Abigail's Garden
Surrounded by three-and-a-half acres of flourishing gardens and natural landscaping, Abigail's Garden provides a romantic and fairytale setting for your wedding and reception that can easily accommodate parties up to three hundred. Complete with ceremony gazebo, 60' x 70' reception tent, full-bar, on-site catering, and dance floor, your guests will talk about your event for years to come.

The Veiled Garden
Tucked away in a canopy of trees, the Veiled Garden is perfect for a secluded and intimate outdoor wedding. With its elegant gazebo, sweeping walkway, tranquil creeks, and romantic waterfall, the Veiled Garden provides the perfect backdrop to your wedding day. Take a short walk from the Veiled Garden to The Ballroom at Abernethy for your reception.

Abernethy Ballroom
An elegant marble entry ushers guests into a breathtaking ballroom, complete with recessed ceilings and chandeliers. Designed with a neutral color palette, floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor patio, and completed with all of the essential conveniences, The Ballroom at Abernethy is both a beautiful and highly adaptable space for your reception or winter ceremony.

Abernethy Chapel
The Abernethy Chapel is a classic white ceremony chapel tucked within a grove of trees, with a working, 65 foot bell tower, dedicated bridal and groom's suites, and the capacity to hold 220 guests for ceremonies. The lower floor of the chapel will have an intimate reception space for parties of 100 guests or less. Larger parties will enjoy the convenience of our ballroom across the street.
