Matt was great! He helped us plan everything down to every detail of the reception. He is full of wonderful ideas and tips. He kept the party moving and on track. Everyone had a blast. He sends a book full of ideas, tips, and helps you plan every minute of the day. Everything was exactly how we wanted it. We cannot say enough good things about him.
I found Matt to be very professional to work with. He took a great deal of stress off my wife and I in planning our wedding. At our initial visit he was the first sigh of relief that either of us received during this journey of wedding planning. He was like a wedding coordinator without the huge price tag and dual people. He reminded me he had everyone under control aside from lining up the bride, groom and wedding party. Outside of that he worked with the caterer to accomplish a very smooth transition between ceremony, reception, pictures, entertainment and the meal. His book of wedding ideas, music, and planning helped us more than any other wedding book I purchased. This wedding book, while it took us a while to get through it, brought up things we had never even through of. Like who is blessing the meal, over 1000 songs we had a approve, and how do you want people announced or released for dinner. It made for a great wedding. He was a great DJ also, however my wife and I may disagree a little on what the proper actions may have been. I didn't know until after the wedding but a few of our wedding guests requested some songs that were not appropriate for the style of our wedding. He did not play the songs at the time, which I thought was very critical to please all of our guests rather than just a few. Also we had a family emergency just before the wedding involving my Dad and as a result my father was unable to attend. I made an announcement at the wedding just reporting that he was there in spirit and heart. Approximately a week later after the wedding Matt called me to ask how my Dad was doing. I really believe that was way beyond anything we could have asked for when we hired him. He showed real concern for not only his customers, but for their family as well. In all the comments in regards to our wedding some of the most impactful members of our team were the caterer and the entertainment. From all of us, our guests, and the other members of the team we were able to enjoy our wedding day free of the majority of the stress.
I can't begin to describe how wonderful Hugh from Amore DJ Entertainment was during our reception. Without Hugh the reception would have not been possible! Hugh was able to gauge the atmosphere and knew exactly when/where events needed to happen. Hugh also kept our events moving. Hugh was the life of the party!!! I would recommend Amore DJ entertainment to any future couple looking for a DJ/MC. Matt (the owner) starts with several meetings to establish the atmosphere and requirements for the event. Matt's experience in wedding events is second to none. There were several ideas and recommendations my wife and I did not consider and Matt was there to walk us through the entire process. If you are looking for a DJ/MC you MUST hire Amore DJ Entertainment right meow!!!!!
