With over 10 years experience in wedding design and production, we combine gorgeous flowers with the most extensive collection of wedding props in the Portland area and creative artistic skill to produce events of uncompromising elegance and style.
Color, Texture, Scent, and Scale
Attention to detail is what makes the ordinary wedding an extraordinary
experience!
Color
What bride could resist falling madly in love with the classic color combinations:
gorgeous hotel silver candelabras dripping with tones of white, cream
and butter roses, lilacs, peonies and tulips on a table draped with pewter
organza chiffon; rusted Italian iron urns and compotes crammed with lush
fall dahlias, hypericum berries, orchids and vine maple over rich mocha
damask linens and gilded chairs; sparkling estate cut crystal ware with
jewel-tone gloriosa lilies, hot pink cockscomb, chartreuse viburnam, and
coral sweetpeas on a table draped in crystal beaded champagne moiré.
These are just but a sampling of the myriad of combinations of color a bride could choose. The fun will come in finding the right palate to suit your wedding.
Texture
Utilizing materials other then standard flowers gives your wedding flowers
a feeling of depth and texture. We love to let our imagination run wild
in combining non-traditional elements into our work: moss covered cake
urns, birch trees full of hanging votives; fresh berries, citrus, kumquats,
grapes, artichokes and pomegranits gracing magnificent wedding cakes;
tables covered in the most exquisite linens, damasks and organza, stone
water fountains, urns, pillars and garden ornamenture, wrought iron pergolas,
arches and gazebos.
Scent
The freshest flowers provide the most exquisite scents. David Austen garden
roses, lilacs, peonies, lily of the valley and freesia to name a few.
Our flowers excite the senses!
Scale
Understanding scale is of vital importance in wedding design. Your décor
and flowers should fit the formality of the event, the size, scale and
look of the event space, the time of day and the time of the year.
