First let me say "thanks" if you're reading this, that tells me you are interested in gaining more information on how we can help make your event, your floral needs or your interior design needs the best they can be.
I consider it a real privilege to be asked to create events that make a statement as well as mirror who you are as couple and having the opportunity to create environments that feel like sanctuaries at home and an atmosphere that reflects your sense of style and business model at work.
Allow me to share with you why I do what I do. Have you ever had something in your life that just makes your heart beat a little faster, or how it feels to find that perfect gift for someone you love and you can't wait to see them open it, that thing that you would honestly not feel whole if you couldn't do, well for me that is the art of design. It makes no difference to me whether that is expressed through events, floral, or interiors because my philosophy is that the art of design is the potential that you see around you whether it is in an outdated unattractive venue, a bucket full of fresh cut flowers waiting to be arranged or a home/office that needs a little vision to make it a place that will allow a family or business person the opportunity to look around and say "She really got us".
I am like a child at Christmas waiting to give that perfect gift at an unveiling of an event, floral piece or interior that I have just created for a client.
I have a formula for design based on layers , and certain "Must Haves" and "Can't Do Withouts". Those things are scale, lighting and color. I consider these things to be foundational in any kind of design. I know how to create atmosphere and it starts with appealing to all 5 senses. I really try to build every design based on these principles. I have a love for the Psychology of color and I believe that color is important in the design goal you are trying to achieve, and I use that philosophy in my events, florals and interiors.
I have an in depth design questionnaire that I have my clients fill out and that allows me to gain some real insight into your personalities as well as what style you gravitate towards so that when I create something for you it is based on your personal preferences from the clothes you buy to what your hobbies and passions are.
I am a lover of all things beautiful and I believe that beautiful is sometimes "ugly" first.
I look forward to hearing from you and the opportunity to design for you!
Services we offer
Comprehensive event planning & management:
Planning from start to finish including but not limited to venue selection, vendor selection, acting as a liaison with vendors, stationary (invitations, save the dates, thank you cards, etc.) selection, rehearsal dinner planning, honeymoon planning assistance, RSVP management, troubleshooting and managing/facilitating the day before at the rehearsal if needed as well as the day of the event.
"Month Of" logistics:
Some people refer to this service as "Day of" coordinating. I prefer to approach a "day of" coordinating service as early as a month out in order to get familiar with the event logistics, make myself available to vendors to be the point of contact and to troubleshoot anything beforehand that could possibly pose potential challenges on the day of the event. I believe this allows you to enjoy the time leading up to your event without feeling overwhelmed and nervous. This service also includes directing the rehearsal if needed.
Comprehensive event design/conception:
This service can be retained ala carte or combined with the above two services. It includes conceptualizing the overall look of the event and all of the special details to bring it to life from color scheme to layout to linens and floral. We design your lighting plan to compliment it all.
It is so important at Angela Mazanti Design to produce floral design to serve anyone's style, whether it be modern, rustic, traditional, out of the box or minimalistic. We use top quality florals from all over the country and abroad to make sure we can offer the greatest selection and quality. We are not limited to one or two styles.
We have an extensive selection of event rentals ranging from vases, to lounge furniture and chandeliers, fabrics, pillows, etc. Think accents. Anything that adds to the aesthetic of an event that you may not be able to find at the large warehouse rental companies you will find with us. We don't stock tables and chairs, staging and tents, just the "pretty" stuff. We are more of a boutique design studio. We are always designing and constructing new items to be used for events from beautiful bars to slipcovered bench seating. Other event companies often call us for custom pieces.
We work closely with a lighting designer (He's my husband :) to create events that stand out. The atmosphere is immediately different with specialized lighting design. It lets your guests know that this is something special. There are many vendors that offer up lighting and that is wonderful, but specialized lighting design is on a completely different level than just renting a few light cans. There is a specific skill set when it comes to creating an atmosphere from lighting and as a designer I consider that a foundation to a great event.
Residential Interior design is often thought of as a luxury service reserved for the wealthy, but I disagree. There are so many different levels of conceptualizing and applying a design plan that it really makes sense that most people would need the services of an interior designer on some level. There is a real psychology to intentionally creating a functional yet visually pleasing environment in the place where you spend most of your time. The colors that we choose to put on our walls or the fabrics we select to go on our furniture or window treatments affect how we feel and how relaxing our environments are. Obviously it can be executed to the highest level for those who can afford it but good design can also be implemented for those who don't think they could have ever utilized the services of a designer.
Commercial Interior design serves three purposes. One is to reflect who you are as a company to your clientele as well as create an environment that stimulates productivity and creativity for employes to render to your company. If the employe feels comfortable and proud of the place they work in, it will create an atmosphere of energy and pride. The last one is to create function so that the business flows and produces in the manner it was intended to as well as being in compliance with all commercial codes.
