Annapolis Maritime Museum

Located along the scenic shores of Back Creek of the Chesapeake Bay in the Eastport section of Annapolis, Maryland. The Annapolis Maritime Museum connects visitors, residents and especially students to Annapolis' unique maritime heritage and the natural wonder of the Chesapeake Bay.

The historic McNasby Oyster Co. building is an ideal setting for social events such as weddings. With a total of 7,000 square feet of space, including a 2,000 square foot Bay Room reception area, a 800 square foot waterfront deck and a 2,000 square foot exhibit gallery, the Museum has both the space and breathtaking views for your event.

The Bay Room is a large reception area with modern industrial-style architectural elements and art lining the walls from local artists based on the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. It is equipped with a screen for DVDs or Powerpoint presentations, AV connections for an iPod or background music, dimmers and track lighting, eight 8-ft tables, and 115 black padded chairs. The main deck and piers have a 180 degree view of the Chesapeake Bay and Back Creek, 6 ft water depth for easy boat access and tenting options for a beautiful ceremony.

The Exhibition Gallery includes our Oysters on the Half Shell exhibit and offers a great space for a cocktail hour. Our sanded beach is a perfect area for pictures and another ceremony space option. Our catering kitchen provides your vendors with two warming ovens, a large 31 cubic-foot refrigerator, stainless steel worktable, 3-compartment work sink, microwave and outdoor grilling area. A perfect spot for you, your family and friends to celebrate your big day!
