Your Atlanta Wedding Photographer should be artistic, classic, unique and timeless.
Christopher Michael Wong is a Fashion and Wedding Photojournalist and Awarded Professional Artist who has exhibited in a variety of galleries in Atlanta, including the HIGH Museum of Art. He says, "I find special purpose and meaning in photographing weddings. I enjoy making people happy. I enjoy making friends. I never take for granted what a privilege it is to be trusted to photograph one of the most important days in someone’s life"
I studied fine art photography and creative writing at Kennesaw State University. My education and experience with the camera began with film and with long hours in the darkroom. The deliberate nature of traditional film photography made me into a photographer who takes a lot of care and time with the images that I use. There are a lot of photographers out in the world who treat photography like a business - I treat it as an art form.
I've exhibited my photography at a variety of galleries in the Atlanta area, including the HIGH Museum of Art, where I was awarded [Best in Show] for my work in 2010. My most recent exhibition was a 98 piece exhibition as part of the Old Reynold's Town Art Walk.
I was the Art Editor and later Editor in Chief for SHARE Art and Literary Magazine, where I set up distribution and exposure for emerging artists at the major mid-town art galleries.
One thing I can promise is that I view the world and use the camera in a way very different from many others. When I discovered my love passion for documentary photography, I found that photographing weddings was something that I excites me and make me happy. I want my art to be important to real people taking the first steps into a new life.
