Congratulations on your engagement! Established in the 1800's, the Binghamton Club is the premier club of Broome Country, New York. If you book your wedding it will include expierenced wedding coordinators with B.A. from the University of Niagra and SUNY Plattsburg in Hotel/Restaurant Tourism Managment. The Club has an Executive Chef who is a graduate of Johnson and Wales Culinary School.
Host your cocktail hour on our first floor where the rooms have floor-to-ceiling working mahogany fireplaces, then make your grand entrance up the double staircase into the pristine and ready Ballroom. Our Ballroom has 35’ vaulted ceilings and 25’ windows bordering the room. The hand-crafted plaster and 20’ twin chandeliers create a fairy-tale setting. We have a beautiful balcony that overlooks the Ballroom where you can seat additional guests or you can toss your bouquet from your regal perch! We can accommodate a minimum of 100 guests right up to a maximum of 225 guests. We do not require a minimum number of guests on Fridays or in the off-season.
When you book your wedding at the Club, it will include the Ballroom with 4 additional rooms, a wedding coordinator, tables, solid cherry-wood upholstered chairs, linens and colored napkins, glassware/china/silverware, a beautiful white marble-tone dance floor, and a cake table (no cake cutting fee), among many other things! We also provide bartenders and wait staff trained in formal dining service and a culinary staff of four award-winning culinary school graduate chefs. We have the best banquet food in the Greater Binghamton area! We will wow you with a complimentary taste-testing after you book the reception here.
Our menus are not preset packages. We build your event from an ala carte menu based on your tastes and budget. Since I don’t have specifics from you yet as to what types of hors d’oeuvres you want served, type of meal service, or what you want offered at the bar, etc, what I can give you at this point the average cost of a wedding here. Most weddings average around $85-$90 per person total. That includes any of the three types of meal services, full open bar, hors d’oeuvres, miscellaneous popular services such as LED uplighting, door service, room fee, 21% service charge and 8% sales tax. Most other competing venues around here have packages that range from $60-$100 per head. Then you need to add the service charge, sales tax and facility usage fee (bringing it back to or over our price range). Our prices are competitive with other local venues.
The one way the Binghamton Club differs from other venues is that we can work within almost any budget since we do not have preset package prices. It is also an advantage to you since we custom-build your menus to your exact specifications. Our bar options create quite a bit of flexibility and savings as well. Based on specific choices, we have seen weddings go as low as $55 per person all inclusive. There is additional substantial savings if you book your event on a Friday evening because we will reduce the $1200 room fee down to $750. We also offer incentives for January, February, March as we will waive the room fee.
We are also able to host a ceremony before your reception if that is of interest to you. Depending on the amount of people and the complexity of what is required to transition from the ceremony to the reception the ceremony fee can range anywhere from $250-$1000. Off Season and Friday Night Weddings
If you book a wedding in January, February or March of 2017 or 2018, we will waive the Ballroom room rental fee of $1,200. All Friday weddings have a discounted room rental of $750.
