I love capturing the pure moments in life; the way a newly engaged couple looks into one another's eyes, the first time a groom sees his bride; the first time new parents see their baby, or the fun expressions of children in their early years.
I did not always know that I wanted to be a photographer. However, I was always certain I wanted a profession that would offer a constant challenge and variety. I found these qualities in photography -- especially in wedding photography. I take pride in knowing each wedding or portrait session will be unique. Each couple and each family have their own individual personalities that play a role in shaping the final outcome. Photography, for me, is a gift because I'm able to preserve memories for others that will be treasured for a lifetime.
It truly is an honor to be such an important part of the wedding day. I often feel very connected to my subjects, often finding myself tearing up during the toasts or the father/daughter dance. It's these little moments that make each wedding I photograph near and dear to my heart, and make me appreciate the bride and groom for allowing me to be a part of their special day.
