About the Designer...
Roula Aspros was born the daughter of greek parents who came to America in pursuit of success. Together, Maria and John Aspropotamitis built a home, raised a family and established a lucrative floral design business on Boston Common, now known as Boylston St. Florist.
Her many years as a faithful assistant to her parents sparked an interest in weddings. She pursued an education in bridal and fashion design, and received her degree from Newbury College. From there, Roula began working under the guidance of a bridal accessory designer and entrepreneur in Boston. Here, she greatly enhanced her craft and business savvy. She decided however, that a big business, international setting was too impersonal. She knew that that her goal was go on her own.
Roula can now work with a bride one on one from concept to creation. The bride has an idea of what she wants, the designer creates it to her utmost satisfaction. She will go the extra mile to please the bride by seeking out the perfect porcelain, jewel or crystal to bring the brides' concept to fruition.
