Cake and Art is a unique bakery where artists serve as cake decorators, bringing our original talents to your wedding cake design.
From the simple elegance of our classic small designs serving as few as 12 people to our one-of-a-kind, multi-dimensional showcase cakes serving hundreds, each wedding cake reflects our client's personality and sense of style.
For 30 years, Cake and Art's leadership in wedding cake creativity has been featured in Vanity Fair, InStyle, People, US, Time, Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, as well as in numerous national television programs. Our cakes are often displayed as props in feature films, television shows and commercials.
Although we excel at "traditional" wedding cake designs, our specialty is creating those one-of-a-kind centerpieces that other bakeries say "can't be done." Some customers are looking for whimsy, such as a bubble-filled bathtub featuring the bride and groom toasting each other with champagne. Others want a dramatic scenario, such as a Renaissance-inspired castle with knights and maidens. Then there are those wedding cakes that defy classification, such as the solid black, two-foot-square cake with a silver-stud trim and a wreath of black calla lillies on top. Or the recreation of Fenway Park in Boston with a life-size baseball on the pitcher's mound. And how about the formally attired bride and groom scaling Mount Everest. No idea is too outlandish or too esoteric for our team of artists.
We strive to give the greatest value at the most competitive prices in the vast Southern California market. We do not charge by the slice, but by the level of artistry required in each design.
Our cakes are as beautiful to eat as they are to look at. From our world-renowned carrot cake to our scrumptious lemon cake that was served at the White House, we want your guests to always want another bite.
