I am Rev. Starlene Joyner Burns of SJB Ministries LLC.  Recently you have seen me standing with our state governor in support of the Civil Marriage Protection Act for all families. 

If you're looking for a modern day minister who support human rights and can deliver your marriage celebration in a style that fits who you are; then you've found her.

I have been officiating personalized ceremonies for couples since 2004.  The deliverance of these celebrations always touches the hearts and minds of those listening. 

It does not matter if your ceremony is spiritual, religious, nondenominational, interfaith, or nonreligious; I have been trained to customize ceremonies that express a couple's heart, mind, soul, and spirit.

And it is always an honor to witness two people, taking their vows of faithfulness before their family and friends, as proof to the universe and the world of their love, devotion, and commitment to each other.

My four-year (2000-2004) seminary training taught me to embrace all faiths, all people, and all cultures.  So I do this, openly, unconditionally, respectfully, and lovingly.

From the processional to the recessional, I will lend my experience and expertise to you as part of the whole wedding celebration.  And as your personal pastor, my relationship with you will not end with your wedding, but begin with it.

Pre-wedding coaching is available for those living together or apart.   It is not required, but is advised.
