Chef du Jour has been a full service caterer for Portland-Metro and surrounding areas for the past fourteen years. Each event can be tailored to our clients' whims.
We utilize the freshest product of the season - including growing our own herbs and edible flowers and specialty vegetables for selected use. Wild game, seasonal mushrooms, nuts and fruits are standard ingredients. In recent events, we have provided pheasant, wild salmon, exotic fish including whole Mahi Mahi flown in from Hawaii, kosher meats, organic ingredients including vegetables, meat and dairy, spit roasted pig, rotisserie lamb, sushi, and (fire code permitting) flaming desserts.
We have produced wedding receptions in wineries, on yachts, in outdoor venues, under tents, in conservatories, and in warehouses. We have provided plated and buffet dinners for large and small groups alike, both corporate and social.
