The Cherry Blossom String Quartet has performed at over 1,000 events since its founding in 1992 at George Washington University. CBSQ regularly plays at weddings and special events at some of the DC area's most distinctive and iconic venues, including the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, as well as at numerous churches, synagogues, hotels, and wineries. While the players' roots are in classical music, CBSQ's ever-expanding repertoire list spans from baroque music to the latest hits of today's popular artists. The members of CBSQ enjoy all aspects of managing the quartet, from booking gigs to arranging special music requests. For more information about CBSQ, please visit cherryblossomstrings.com.
