Wedding
photographers are usually grouped as either traditionalist (formal-style)
or photojournalist (documentary-style). I have, after years of experience,
become comfortable shooting either style and I find that a combination of
the two is usually best. Though most weddings may appear to be very similar,
in truth, every wedding is unique in so many ways. I try to approach each
wedding with a 'new eye' to see and capture that uniqueness. My style has
been developed through experience, heart and instinct.
Every bride and groom has their own taste, expectations and dreams. I
discuss with my clients what type of photos from my portfolios, or other
sources, they particularly like or would like to see. This discussion
helps determine what style, or combination of styles, will best meet the
client's expectations.
"Capturing images to hold your memories" is not a catch phrase - it is a commitment.
