Rockwood Manor is nestled in 30 acres of woods just outside Washington, D.C. and steps away from the C&O Canal. Ceremonies can be held outdoors in the picturesque gazebo, tucked into the manicured garden and bowling lawn, or under the tree canopy on the flagstone terrace. Dine and dance in Brooke Hall with its soaring ceiling, wooden beams, and panoramic view, or the elegant Hoover and Rapidan rooms. The Manor can accommodate up to 130 people indoors in any one area and, with a tent, up to 200 people outdoors.
With overnight lodging for up to100 people, accommodations include 10 hotel-style guestrooms, a family cottage, and three climate-controlled cabins. Rockwood provides ample on-site parking, bride and groom dressing rooms, tables, chairs, and a serving kitchen for your caterer of choice.
Seneca Lodge is surrounded by 26 acres of wooded parkland and a serene creek, providing a rustic, natural setting. The handsome log cabin with cathedral ceilings and a towering wood-burning stone fireplace can accommodate as many as 120 guests for dinner and dancing, or up to 175 for cocktails. The two large exterior wooden decks offer your guests breathtaking views of the expansive lawn and rolling hills. The Lodge provides ample parking, tables and chairs, and a warming kitchen for your caterer of choice.
Woodlawn Manor sits atop meadows with stone barns, wooden fences, and grazing horses, and offers a beautiful pastoral setting. The eighteenth-century Georgian-style manor house and outbuildings are believed to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad. Five beautifully decorated rooms featuring hardwood floors and period furnishings can comfortably accommodate indoor events for up to 60 guests. Outdoor events for as many as 150 guests take place in our picturesque gazebo garden or under our elegant tent sitting on the five-acre landscaped lawn behind the Manor House. The 30' x 60' tent, which comfortably seats 120 people for dinner and dancing, features cathedral window side walls, chandelier and perimeter lighting, a herringbone pattern brick floor and gracefully lit brick pathways. Agricultural History Farm Park is one of the area’s most historical farms and a picture-perfect setting for a country wedding or other special occasion. Get hitched in the meadows, at the historic post-and-beam red Bank Barn, or in the Harvest Room with attached deck. All areas provide breathtaking views of the surrounding meadows and wooded hills. The restored farmhouse is available for the bridal preparations. A warming kitchen is also provided for your caterer of choice.
