When we founded Expressway Music, we promised ourselves that we wouldn't be known for "cookie cutter" weddings. We'd listen carefully to what you'd tell us, and tailor our presentation to accommodate your every desire.
Please feel free to visit our website for more information on our live music groups, deejays and the wedding page.

Minute by Minute~ Not only do they play all styles of music — Swing, Jazz, Rock, Disco, Ethnic, Reggae, etc. — but they also play many of today's current hits. This eclectic mix of world-class musicians and vocalists have played weddings nationally and internationally, and have performed numerous times at some of New York City's finest venues, including The Pierre, St. Regis, Plaza, Rainbow Room, & many more.
Expressway Jazz is a swinging modern group, playing an extensive repertoire that includes hundreds of standards by Rodgers and Hart, Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, et al. And of course swing (very dance-able!), bebop, Latin, blues, and a bit of funk, Beatles, and contemporary.
Members of the group can work as a trio, a duo of sax and piano or piano and bass, or solo piano. And the group can become a quartet or quintet with the addition of drums and/or trumpet.
The group often plays unique versions of classical music for the wedding ceremony, then follows up with jazz for the cocktail hour.
The Professionals play music for all occasions, including weddings, corporate events and private parties. The band consists of six professional musicians from varied musical backgrounds. They were formed in the spring of 2000 and are actively performing in the Tri-State area.
The Professionals' repertoire includes 70's Disco, 50's Rock & Roll, Classic and Alternative Rock, Dance Music, 80's hits, Swing, and Jazz Standards.
Chamber Music~ Expressway features chamber groups composed of some of the finest professional, conservatory-trained performers available. Soloists, duets, trios, and quartets are offered in a variety of instrumental combinations which, depending on the size of the group, might include various combinations of flute, cello, violin, viola, and piano, or trumpets and trombones, with a repertoire extending all the way from Bach to Bernstein.
Every musical and logistical detail is attended to in coordination with you. Music selections are tailored to your specifications, and every effort is made to accommodate your requests. The goal is to provide the perfect musical atmosphere for just the right touch of "living elegance," in order to create an event that everyone will remember.
