I would be honored to be a part of the most important day of your lives—the day of your wedding. It is even a greater honor to me when you are asking for the Lord's blessing on your marriage, and every day of your married lives thereafter.
Having retired as an attorney who practiced law in San Diego for 23 years, the Lord changed how I was to help, and to be a part of people's lives—I became a minister.
It is a privilege to plan a ceremony with the engaged couple in our Del Mar home, and to look forward to their magical day when I am a part of a special couple becoming "one." As an ordained minister, I experience couples who want a very elaborate wedding, and others, who prefer a more intimate wedding. But wherever the ceremony, whether I'm dressed in a clerical robe, a dark or light suit, the blessing for me, for the family, the guests, and most importantly, for the couple is a Christian wedding. As a non-denominational minister with a more traditional background, I believe and know that Our Father in heaven loves all of his children. He would have the blessing of his Son, Jesus, on every couple who—on their wedding day-- seeks His will, love, and direction throughout their marriage.
Many of our couples choose to include a two white dove release after the exchange of the rings ("These two doves will travel home together just as …..(bride) and …. (groom) have coveted before you and God to travel this life together.") With an additional glorious release of 40 white doves at the end of the ceremony when I say: "It is my pleasure to present to you for the very first time Mr. and Mrs.……."
