Froggy's specializes in French regional cooking with a dash of nouvelle and seafood specialties. Because of the moderate pricing, many of the customers at Froggy's are regulars. Thierry changes the menu seasonally with daily specials. Gregg offers an extensive wine list at very affordable prices.
"I will never sacrifice quality," Thierry says, "but I am very careful when I am doing the buying, and always in search of new dishes with a reasonable food cost." This is especially true for dishes requiring expensive ingredients, such as a trademark dish of lobster in a delicate sauce flavored with vanilla. There are also dishes made with succulent ingredients, such as Navarin of sturgeon braised in a Beaujolais sauce or sliced grilled breast of Duck in a cassis sauce.
In 1987, Froggy's designed and opened "The Gourmet Frog" bakery and pastry shop which offers a wide gourmet selection of desserts, cakes, pastries and breads, as well as a carry-out menu for lunches & dinners. In addition, Gourmet Frog specializes in wedding cakes, and any other special holiday cakes.
