Historic Ramsey House is a 1797 Historic House Museum open to the public through guided tours. The site includes a Visitor Center that houses a museum shop, exhibits, and ticket sales. With over 100 acres, the site hosts picture perfect picnic areas in a beautiful country setting.
Location rentals are also available for any event you can imagine! This beautiful property is ideal for weddings and receptions, reunions, garden parties, meetings, seminars and lectures, and our guided tours can accommodate both small and large groups.
Our Visitor Center is handicap-accessible, equipped with two meeting rooms (varies with exhibit needs), high-speed Internet connection, caterer-friendly kitchen, and restrooms. The Visitor Center can accommodate up to 100 people and 80 people for a seated event. No rental events are permitted inside the historic home.
With over 100 acres available, planning any size outdoor event is possible. We work closely with local rental companies and caterers to provide you the best referrals for tents, chairs, and other needs. The historic home provides a lovely backdrop for any event and the abundant shade provides a cool setting in summer months. Parking areas are available at no extra charge. Alcoholic beverages are allowed with a licensed server and you are free to use any service-provider you wish.
