I Heart Photography is focused on capturing the emotion and mood of the moment in every photograph. We're inspired by texture and color, and have a deep appreciation for all things vintage and authentic. We believe that it takes authentic emotion to make a photography truly special, and that guides us in how we approach every photo we take.

We'll photography the day of your wedding in a photojournalistic style, and focus on capturing the action as it unfolds organically. We're experts at stealthily photographing those special moments you'll be having with your family and friends, so you can concentrate on making memories, and we'll take care of the rest.

Our approach to portraits is similar. Mel's a pro at making people feel comfortable in front of her camera, so you can just relax and have fun with people you love - laughing, flirting, joking, or just hanging out. There's no stiff, unnatural poses, and definitely no cheesy studio backdrops in I Heart Photography portrait sessions. Just you, truly having a great time with the people you love the most.
