My work is known for its intimate elegance and its subtle nuance. It exhibits my talent to work with ambient light, capture spontaneous moments and create graphically strong images. I believe I have a unique ability to capture the essence of my subject on film. When I photograph a wedding I document it in such a way that often you are not aware of my presence. I work with multiple cameras to always have a choice of film and lenses. We work together from the first meeting to create a timeline and a list of photos that are important for your family history. I also provide you with the proof prints, online proofing, a formal album and the negatives, if desired. I understand that your wedding day is an intimate and emotional day in your life.
I have been photographing people for nearly 20 years, working as a professional event photographer since 1997. Prior to that I lived 3 years in Paris working as personal assistant to Newsweek photographer, Peter Turnley and was Photo Editor for the books CABERNET and CHARDONNAY by Charles O'Rear. I live in Napa, California and travel internationally for photo assignments and events.
