Serving the Bay Area
San Francisco, CA 94121
Laurel Ann Winzler left a career in the legal world 15 years ago to establish her successful floral and event design business, Laurel Designs. Since that time, she has built a reputation for innovative and exciting designs, serving clients from Bay Area brides to the San Francisco Symphony. Drawing on years of experience as a performer and artist, she specializes in working with each client to enhance the beauty of their homes, offices and special events. Each client receives personal attention, and her designs are created based on each individual's taste, budget, and the unique characteristics of their locations.
Laurel is a preferred vendor at many exclusive Bay Area event venues, and exhibits annually at Bouquets to Art to benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. She donates her time and talents to many organizations, including San Francisco Opera, Special Olympics, Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Community Music Center, Project Inform, United Religions Initiative, Senior Resource Center and the Junior League of San Francisco. In addition, she is a sought-after speaker at hospitality industry events and has lectured regularly at California State University at the San Francisco and East Bay campuses.
As a hobby, Laurel appears on stage as a non-singing extra (called a "supernumerary") in the San Francisco Opera. She has performed in over 45 productions since 1985, and the experience of working with the finest stage designers and directors has given her great insight into effective ways to make the most out of any space.
Bouquets~ Think of the bouquets as the final accessories to complete the look of the bride and attendants. Choose a bouquet that reflects your personal style and adds the finishing touch to your ensemble.
Centerpieces~ Centerpieces are the focal point of the table decor. They can work with the linens, favors and table settings to create the overall mood, whether it’s festive, elegant, whimsical, modern or natural.
Ceremony~ Add the finishing touches to a traditional church, dress up a hotel ballroom, or create a ceremonial space in the middle of a meadow – anything is possible with the right flowers and props!
Chuppas and Cakes~ Whether using a temple chuppah or creating your own unique canopy, flowers add the perfect finish.
In addition to the floral decor, I can provide chuppah tops and poles, and can also create a custom top with any material you choose.
Cakes can be enhanced with fresh flowers to tie in with the rest of your decor. I consult directly with your pastry chef to determine what materials are needed to finish off the cake to perfection.
