Located in Uptown Charlotte, Levine Museum of the New South provides a unique setting for your wedding!
With a wall of glass windows, marble floors, and a dramatic curved staircase that allows access to the second floor, our Lobby is an ideal entrance for your guests. As they move into the Atrium, they are greeted by the natural light that the skylights offer. The Atrium features an open space that is perfect for your ceremony and easily transformed into an elegant reception area, complete with a built-in hardwood dance floor. Easily accessed from the Atrium, Harris Hall accommodates seating and food set ups, ranging from heavy hors d'oeuvres, multiple stations, a buffet or a plated dinner.
The second floor offers two rooms (both well suited for a bride's room!), an exhibit, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the Atrium and dance floor. Your guests will enjoy standing around the balcony at cocktail tables watching the people below.
A beautiful, unique venue for your ceremony and reception is not the only thing we offer. Levine Museum's award-winning exhibits are available to your guests, convenient complimentary parking is provided in Seventh Street Station, numerous tables and chairs are free for your use, and a professional and courteous staff will assist you from initial planning to the toss of the bouquet. Please call for a tour of the Museum with the Events Manager to discuss your dream and how we can make it come true. Let us help you make history with your wedding!
