Ted and Rachel Linczak are a husband and wife photography team with an attention to detail, ability to anticipate the moment, and an eye for the creative. They are committed to adding glamour to wedding photography while also unobtrusively capturing the wedding day as it unfolds by combining high fashion photography with photojournalism. Ted and Rachel strive always to have their images display the relationships and connections between people rather than staged scenarios. They look for images to capture and preserve emotions and moments and, in that way, enable their clients to relive those emotions and moments for years to come.
"Every couple has a different chemistry, " says Rachel. "Our goal is to capture what makes that couple who they are when they're together - the little things that make them completely different from every other couple we've ever photographed."
Ted adds, "We are constantly looking for the best expressions. We find that the more our couples focus on each other, the more relaxed they become and the more fun they have. That's really what it's all about. When they let their guard down, is when we can do what we do."
Ted and Rachel's commitment to quality only begins with the photography and carries over to their finely crafted storybook albums and other unique print products. Their goal is to consistently exceed the expectations of every client in not only product, but in a stylized experience you cannot find anywhere else.
Ted & Rachel were recently rated in the top ten photographers in the state of Ohio at the 2012 regional PPO convention in Sandusky, and also received the award for the top wedding album in the entire state. As members of the G.P.P.D.V, they won best overall album at the Guild’s 2012 year end print competition, and this past fall were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the wedding album and wedding portrait category in the PPO's Fall Print Competition.
This past summer they were honored to be named a Platinum Medalist in the Professional Photographers of America 2012 International Print Competition, one of 12 selected individuals out of more than 5,000 entries from around the world.
