I have been a documentary photographer for over 10 years. The style of photography I use to shoot a wedding is the very same style I use when I do street photography around the world or in my neighborhood. My approach is to tell the story from beginning to end, photographing the entire event, including preparations and festivities of you and your guests, in order to capture the emotion and significance of your wedding day. I come to weddings with a passion for photography and a history of image making devoted to finding and celebrating moments of beauty, humor and tenderness.
My goal is to create a beautiful and artful record of your wedding day presented as an heirloom. I place equal emphasis on my photography as I do on creating a custom album. Prizing people’s differences, I offer a range of albums from handcrafted artisans from various regions. Creating an heirloom album is a bit of a boutique endeavor, mingling many layers of specialty. There are the hands of the calligrapher, the craft of the bookbinders, my images and our combined editing and storytelling, which all come together to produce a wedding album for your home and family. I firmly believe that the images we select for your album not only tell the narrative, but also stand apart as something more. It is for this reason that I believe your albums should be presented as something truly unique, with each image deserving a page of their own. The process of creating the album is collaborative and a fun way to work together on something creative. Couples love it!
