Matthew Foster is a New Orleans-based photojournalist. He employs a friendly and patient approach to seeking out the spirit and uniqueness of each of his subjects. Matthew's images draw heavily from his interests in fine art and cutting edge fashion portraiture and provide something different in wedding photography. Matthew Foster doesn't speak about himself in the third person in real life but just finds that in this particular situation, it's the least awkward way to express his sincerely held belief that he, along with his trusty assistant, Liz King, are a really awesome team who would love nothing more than to be a part of your wedding day.
I'm a married father of two complete knuckleheads. I have been a full-time wedding photographer for seven years and I still maintain a love and excitement for all my clients and a devotion to their happiness. I have 250 weddings in my diary thus far and the details of those 250 days are technicolor vivid in my mind-- ask me about any of them and I can retell every moment, every dewy-eyed laugh and something off-script that was, of course, the reigning moment of the day.
Despite being an admittedly, sentimental cry-baby, I strive for non-cheesy, classic images that have both a visual and emotional bite. Although I consider my images contemporary, I remain mom-friendly. I will gladly do as many posed shots as you and your moms agree on (you have two moms now).
Thank you so much for stopping by my site. I'd love to meet you in person if you'd like to come visit, my door is always open (not literally, please make an appointment). In the meantime, please go and check out what my current brides are saying at facebook.com/matthewfosterphotography
