Neuman & Bogdonoff was established in 1981 by Paul Neuman (yes, it's his real name - no jokes please!) and Stacy Bogdonoff. Paul and Stacy studied art in college and gravitated to the food business as a place to work creatively, visually and closely with their clients and colleagues.
Studying art and loving food are not enough to make one a professional. After graduating with her BFA, Stacy completed the degree program at the Culinary Institute of America and studied for four months at La Varenne in Paris. Paul spent nearly five years honing his cooking and catering skills while working at the family fish market, teaching fish and seafood handling and preparation at the New School and apprenticing with one of New York's premier caterers.
In 1981 Paul & Stacy opened one of the city's first and finest specialty food stores. Since then Neuman & Bogdonoff has evolved into one of the busiest and best off-premise caterers and event planners in the New York area.
