Our Origins: In 2007, Oakes Fields was opened with the goal of making a personalized, boutique floral company which focused solely on creating gorgeous wedding day flowers for brides of all styles. Over the next five years, Oakes Fields would design over 200 weddings, making it one of the leading names in wedding flowers in the Denver area in both performance and bride satisfaction.
Meet the owner and designer:
Cydney Johnson has been planning events in the Denver Metro area for over three years. Since she was young, she has had a flare for style and an eye for detail, both in wedding and floral design. Before starting her career as an event coordinator, she pursued her formal education in Advertising at The Art Institute of Colorado. Her love for design and ability to think outside of the box has help her create many extraordinary events. Cydney is very detail oriented and can easily maintain a budget (and in many cases, come under budget). She loves the challenge of something different and enjoys working with new clients. Her passion truly shows in her work, which is one of the many reasons clients enjoy working with her.
In 2012, Cydney acquired Oakes Fields from Colleen Oakes, looking to expand her business, design skill, and to offer brides a convienent and unique experience where they can get their wedding florals and coordinating needs in one place. Her passion, design experience and eye for the artistic and the lovely made her a natural choice to take Oakes Fields into their bright future.

How do I make an appointment? Give us a call or an email and we will set up a free consultation to come up with a concept and give you a bid. Our phone number is 303-956-4990, and our email is email@example.com. We always respond within 24 hours.
How far in advance to need to book? Most of the time, 6 - 9 months is plenty of time. However, if you are getting married in May, June, October or September, you might need to call us sooner - we sometimes book to a year and a half in advance! However, we are very experienced with last minute bookings as well.
How much are your wedding flowers? It's very hard to quote an average price for flowers - this is because every bride is different with different styles and tastes, every bouquet is different, and it depends on how many people, how many flowers, the size, the flowers you are wanting, etc... an "Average" price doesn't really work. We can tell you that most of our weddings range from 700.00 - 3,000.00 dollars. We do have a 700.00 dollar minimum for weddings.
Do you deliver to the mountains?? We deliver to the greater Denver area, Ft. Collins, Golden, Boulder and the Front Range. We have recently added some mountain venues to our list of delivery locations.
What kind of flowers are good for smaller budgets? Roses, Gerbera Daisies, Mums, Wildflowers, Sunflowers and Tulips are just a sample of the kind of flowers that are better for smaller budgets. We can help you understand what is and isn't within your budget when you come in for a consult.
Who will be designing MY wedding? Cydney, the owner and executive designer, does all the designing with her head designers. You will never have a random worker designing your flowers. Cydney also makes each and every bridal bouquet.
What makes Oakes Fields different? We focus completely on the brides wants and needs and are a personal, customer service oriented wedding florist. We also come with the unique idea (in the wedding business anyways!) that not all brides are the same, and therefore not every bride should have the same bouquet. We only do wedding flowers and it allows our focus to be on you, the bride, and no one else!

Can I come visit your shop? No. We are a private design studio, and do not have a public store or set "store" hours. Therefore we are appointment only. We hold our appointments in our home office.
Where are you? Our home office is located in the North Broomfield area. The current address listed on Google Places (11901 Perry) is NOT our current location. We have tried to change this several times with them and have been unsuccessful. Once we are booked for a consultation, we will send you clear and easy directions to our office.
