Do you work alone?
No, I have an amazing staff of coordinators, assistants and interns who help with every event.
Is this your full time job?
Yes; my clients are my first priority.
Do you charge for the initial meeting?
No; our first meeting is complementary.
How many weddings do you plan a year?
I only accept 10 events at a time. we like to keep things personal.
Do you ever book two events in one day?
Never; that’s crazy!!
Do you accept commissions or kickbacks from the vendors you work with?
Never; all vendor discounts are passed on directly to my clients.
Can you help us when etiquette issues arise?
My friend had a coordinator who bossed around the vendors; will you be doing that?
No; we are firm believers in team work to create a seamless event. A collective group of industry professionals is what creates a memorable and stress free wedding.
What is your educational background?
I attended University of Oregon for business and art history; then transferred to Oregon State University to earn a BS in Merchandising Management. I am a firm believer in continuing education. Every year I attend multiple conferences as well as Wedding MBA to keep up on industry trends and am in the process of earning my CSEP.
Are you a member of any of professional organizations?
Yes a very active one; I am the Vice President of Communications for the Portland ISES Chapter, a board member for Wedding Network USA Portland and a proud member of The Wedding Lounge!
Do you work with LGBTQ couples?
Yes; I support Marriage Equality, and recommend wedding professionals that do as well.
Do you do events other than weddings?
Yes. Birthdays; showers, anniversary parties you name it we would love to help.
