About Us

Romantic Photojournalism, since 1990.Our goal is to tell the story of your wedding with honesty and beauty, without interfering in the natural flow of the day. Keeping the posed shots to a minimum, we document the real-life expressions, events, and emotions that make your wedding uniquely your own, drawing upon our background in fine art to create original, evocative imagery in both black & white and color.Rather than put a couple through a long and tedious portrait session, we prefer to keep this time shorter (1 to 1.5 hrs), focusing on small groups and keeping the process relaxed and fun. We usually spend 75% of your wedding focusing on the real events of the wedding day-from the first look to the last dance-in an easy-going, friendly, and unobtrusive manner. We will never try to control or direct your experience-in fact, we often hear from our clients that they are so comfortable with our presence at their wedding, they forget we were even there! The ability to anticipate moments before they happen is another key ingredient that sets skilled photojournalistic wedding photographers apart from more traditional or less experienced wedding photographers. Often the best memories and moments at a wedding are unplanned, and only happen for a split second and then they are gone. We pride ourselves on being keen observers of people and weddings, and knowing when an emotional, funny, or memorable moment might be coming, so we can have the camera to our eye when the moment happens, and then is gone in a blink of an eye. In wedding photography, timing is everything! While our artistic vision is at the heart of our work, photography is also a very technical art form, and it is important for us to stay current with developments in our industry. We invest in top-quality digital equipment (and equal back-ups), allowing us to shoot the best possible images with great convenience and versatility, as well as to offer our clients high-resolution images on CD and user friendly websites. We believe in openess in communication with our clients. That is why we list not only our prices but the entire contents of our wedding packages on our website and brochures. You will never find hidden costs. Before your wedding, we will spend time talking about the day with you, confirming details such as the order of the events and what groups of people you would like included in your portrait session, so that we arrived prepared for your special day
