First questions regarding a wedding/union often focus on the date, place, and fees. However, those issues are incidental compared to art of crafting a wedding/union service that is co-created with you in loving tribute to your current and future relationship.
I recognize that this is a 'once in a lifetime' event for you, and your memories of this day will stay with you the rest of your lives. I therefore take your wedding very seriously and will work with you on every detail of the ceremony to make it what you want it to be.
Many couples have special concerns about how to incorporate their particular theology/values into their service while also showing respect for their family of origin. Because I am a Unitarian Universalist minister, I respect different theologies and am experienced at finding language that reflects the Sacred, no matter what your frame of reference. I have experience crafting wedding ceremonies that reflect Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Celtic, Quaker and/or traditional theologies. Some couples have chosen to incorporate wedding rituals that reflect French, German, Russian, Korean, or other customs. Together, we will design a ceremony that reflects our mutual values. My work with you will ensure that this service represents the enduring quality of your relationship by creating enduring memories for you and your family.
