Congratulations on your engagement! I am an independent, ordained pastor who has been performing weddings for over fifteen years. While serving at churches as an assistant pastor, I noticed that weddings were often a burdensome addition to the busy lives of the pastoral staff. Because I greatly enjoy officiating weddings, I felt a calling to start a service where it is my sole focus. I enjoy helping couples craft a ceremony that uniquely represents them...it can be a short, simple ceremony or one with many special elements. I am passionate about the spiritual dimension of marriage and strive to honor that in the wedding ceremony. I believe that in honoring the tradition and spiritual aspect of marriage, your ceremony will be one you and your guests will find both meaningful and memorable. In addition to meeting with you one-on-one to plan your ceremony, I also offer four optional sessions of individual premarital preparation for an additional charge. These sessions can help lay a strong foundation for your marriage and give it the best start possible.

I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, and have served in various ministry roles in New York state and in Charlotte, North Carolina. My resume includes marriage preparation, family ministry, and performing wedding and renewing of vows ceremonies, funerals, and baby dedications. I also have many years of experience in broadcast meteorology and, in Charlotte, have worked for WBTV, News 14 Carolina, and 106.9 The Light. My broadcast background has given me the ability to enunciate and project well, to ad lib comfortably, and to develop smooth transitions in my public speaking.
