I have three loves - a husband named T.J., a Doberman named Skye and a business named after me, Robin K.
One of them stole my heart.
One of them ate my slipper.
My company? That developed over time.
Quite simply, I was born for this. Designing, crafting, inventing, dreaming. It's always been my passion. And now it's my business.
Ask my mom. She still tells stories about me coloring on the walls with my crayons. (Sorry, mom.) She'll tell you how, years later, I would save invitations to Bar Mitzvahs and Sweet Sixteens - how I loved their outrageousness, their inventive design.
It's a passion that carried me through high school. I remember ripping out magazine ads and hording brochures. Anything that struck me. Things that were flashy. Classy. Interesting pieces that communicated visually. It's why I helped introduce an advertising class into the school's curriculum. And why I, ultimately, graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Graphic/Information Design.
Initially, my career led me to New York City, where I worked in the advertising industry at several interactive agencies. I designed websites and online advertising for clients such as Delta Airlines, Avon and JC Penney. And after nearly 10 years working on multi-million dollar accounts with industry-leading professionals, I decided I needed something more rewarding and hands on. I decided to start my own business.
Today, my crayons have been replaced with more advanced tools - my high school invitations with personal pieces from my own collection. I'm working along side brides, grooms and special individuals whose special days have become my top priority. There's nothing more rewarding than a couple gushing over the stationery we've created together for their wedding. And there's nothing I'd rather be doing.
Here's how it works:
My dream is to make yours come true.
From the initial brainstorming session, to the final product, I work very closely with my clients to bring to life the vision they have for their day.
