The fee for our service is quoted as a range per person ($55-65 pp). Our fee is all inclusive but where you fall in the pricing will depend on some variables such as what type of service you prefer. We can provide any type of service but sit down service requires more labor than a buffet, for instance. There are no “surprises” or a la carte fees. The fee is based on your specific needs and the event demands.
Linens are not included in the $55-65 fee because we do not know what our clients will need. As a general rule, you can allow $2 - $2.50 per person for 120” round polyester linens (to the floor) plus napkins, any color. We can get overlays or anything you want and the price would increase depending on what you ordered.
Our menus are on our website and can be customized to suit your tastes and needs. We also offer our unique Restaurant Partners Program which was started six years ago and has been embraced with wonderful approval. We have partnered with over 25 local restaurants to provide the food for events while Castle Catering provides the “full service” aspect. This program has allowed us to offer a wider range of options of cuisine as well as ethnic foods. Meals range from $10-25+ per person. You select your menu and pay the restaurant directly for the food.
The host supplies the alcohol at The Romanesque Room and we provide everything else as part of our service (coke, diet coke, sprite, all juices and mixers, garnishes, glassware and ice). We have a vendor that we’ve worked with for 20+ years, Bill Sullivan, who owns The Bottle Shop in Sierra Madre. His program is simple … you order your alcohol through Bill. The day before the wedding he delivers plenty and you have an open bar throughout your event. The day after he picks up any unopened bottles (partials are yours to keep) and you are only charged for what was consumed by your guests. It is an easy and cost effective way to provide the alcohol for your event. You’re not required to use Bill, but we like to make clients aware of this possibility as they evaluate their bar requirements.
For illustration, here’s an example of costs for food and service:
Castle Catering fee (mid-range)…………$60
In-house Caterer or Restaurant Partner Food (mid-range).…$18
Total = $78 per person (tax and gratuities included)
The room rental fee is in addition to the above catering fee.
The Romanesque Room rents for $3500 on Saturday, $3000 on Friday or Sunday.
Note: we offer a discounted room rental rate for groups of 150 or more.
The Romanesque Room accommodates 250 guests with dancing. Ceremonies can be held in the room as well. The ceremony fee is $500. A deposit of ½ of the room rental rate is required to reserve the room.
