For me, photography quickly became a hobby when I first picked up my father's camera as a child. I always had a camera with me -- long before they came conveniently packaged in cell phones. While completing my BA in Film Production at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, I accepted a position with a professional photo lab. Working hands-on in the photography industry, my childhood hobby quickly became a passion.

In 1998, I began photographing weddings professionally, and soon word-of-mouth allowed me to work on my photography full time. In 2003, I relocated to New York City where my work branched into portraiture for model and actor portfolios.

Now, residing in the Philadelphia area, I have been fortunate enough to photograph many interesting people and many beautiful weddings, one of which was recently featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

My business philosophy is simple: I will provide you with the most professional, yet personal, service that you want and deserve, and we're going to have a good time doing it!

I shoot with state-of-the-art professional digital photography equipment and use multiple methods of back-up, so you can rest assured that your digital photos will not be lost or damaged. As far as your finished product, you have many selections from which to choose, and I personally retouch all photographs I shoot.

I am very lucky to be able to do what I love as a profession. Finding and capturing beauty and raw emotion is my primary goal, and I hope that comes across in my work.
